The eagerly awaited renovation programme for your Village Hall is now underway and we aim to be finished by the end of August. We hope that this will cause a minimum disruption to the various groups and events that happen in the Hall during this time.
Now might be a good time for new people with new ideas to join in with running the Village Hall. The Annual General Meeting of the Village Hall Committee will take place on Monday 12th October at 7.30pm in the Village Hall, all villagers welcome.
Many of the current committee have been involved for a number of years now and, having freshened up and improved the interior of our Hall, we would really like to freshen up our ideas about how the Hall can best serve our community in the future. Many of our committee members would love to take a little step back now and allow new ideas to develop and mature. This year we are particularly looking for someone to step in to the role of secretary of the Village Hall Committee. If anyone would like more information about the secretarys duties or any other facet of the Village Hall Committee work please contact Edd Edgell on 07789540852.
